My teaching philosophy consists of an individual approach with each student. Each singer has different vocal problems and those needs are directly addressed. This studio gives private instruction for singing with, above all else, the principals of a healthy voice and sound.
Private Lessons are on a one-on-one basis within an hour or half-hour lesson; with half vocal technique instruction and half repertoire selection. Coaching with piano accompaniment is available at no additional cost and woven into the lesson.
Half-hour lessons are recommended to start. New students work mainly within a half-hour lesson. For medium 45" lessons and advanced students: 30" technique/30"repertoire in one hour lessons are recommended.
Beginning voice students must basically read music.
Specialties: Ages 15+ to adult
Beginning - Intermediate - Advanced singers
Classical technique within Musical Theatre, Opera, Art Songs and commercial styles.
High School - All State Honors & Musical Theatre preparation.
